Biography

Catherine Lombard got her bachelor of science from Virginia Tech and her PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from Virginia Commonwealth University, where she studied the effects of cannabinoids on normal and transformed immune cells. She then joined the laboratory of Prof. Etienne Sokal, MD PhD in Brussels, Belgium, where she is studying the development of allergies in children. In addition, she is currently working in cell therapy, studying the interactions of mesenchymal stem cells with the immune system.
